Mid Valley Christian School is a Community Helper

Mrs. Jan Schneider and her 12 second graders helped out today with a visit to Frontera Audubon, a tour of the preserve and the historic Skaggs House, and a great job cleaning and refilling hummingbird feeders, chopping citrus for the feeding stations, and mixing butterfly bait for the butterfly logs.  Everybody took part in a scavenger hunt and then made a trip to the gift shop where it looked like rocks were the most popular purchase.  Thanks, Mrs. Schneider, for bringing such an energetic crew with an eye for the kiskadees and chachalacas.

Jack, Reyna and Fritz smiling here, but serious scavenger hunters.
