Texas Master Naturalists Come Through with Support

John Thaxter delivers a contribution to Frontera ED, Cindy Willson, from the Texas Master Naturalists.

Summer at Frontera is a hot, humid spot for volunteers to work, and we can’t thank our volunteers enough for the time they are putting in to help Frontera recover from the record-breaking rainfall associated with our summer storms. Lush growth unusual for this time of year in South Texas is keeping us busy pruning and weeding, and the Thicket trails are in need of whacking to keep them passable.   Texas Master Naturalists John Thaxter and Heidi Linnemann have been helping with our Friday Nature Walks and working to keep our butterfly gardens beautiful.  We’re looking forward to a diverse migration of butterflies this Fall.
