IF IT’S FRIDAY MORNING…THERE’S A NATURE WALK AT FRONTERA

Come walk the trails at Frontera Audubon with Master Naturalist John Thaxter and share stories of the Valley’s amazing birds, butterflies, insects and reptiles.  If we don’t know, we’ll research it, study it, and maybe get a glimpse of a behavior that hasn’t been seen before.  The black bellied whistling ducklings are on the marsh, and the warm weather has given life to the creatures who frequent the water feature.  Butterflies and hummers are on the turk’s cap and fluttering throughout the old orchard.

DON’T MISS A FRIDAY MORNING WALK.  IT’S A TREAT AND A GREAT WAY TO BEGIN THE WEEKEND!

John is the first one to spy a new butterfly.

With school out these walks that Frontera offers are a great way to keep your kids busy and help them learn about the world around them.

John knows alot about native plants so being with him offers you a great chance to start attracting butterflies and hummingbirds to your yard.

I was glad to see Jim one of our board members, stop by today. I would like to invite him as well as all the other board members to come by and help clear the marsh. You all will no doubt take pride in knowing your labor and time went into such a big and intensive project.

Plus you can earn yourselves a sticker or something.
