Accomplished photographer and naturalist, Ruth Hoyt, teams up with Frontera Audubon on Saturday, Nov. 7 to present a 3 hour photo workshop that includes camera instruction and a guided tour of the Thicket. Join the group at the Visitors’ Center at 8a.m. for coffee, juice and pastries and embark on a hands-on project to learn about your camera and the amazing nature shots you can capture in an environment with great photo opps. About half of your time will be inside learning tricks and techniques, then a walk outdoors, so bring a hat and a little bug spray and be ready for an adventure.
